Black Friday Warrior

I always listen to NPR on the Seward Highway until I lose reception just south of Girdwood and before Portage. Today's economic news from the lower 48 is lots of mall shoppers spending near $6B in stuff. Going be a strong economic season! Yay, I suppose. I cringe at the waste that comes from the gluttony of plastic merch and air pollution. My Black Friday is captured below. I call this image "Warrior". I went to the Sea Life Center in Seward. Really icy roads but smooth sailing and saw only a handful of cars the entire way there. It's the kind of day you can stop and pee on the side of road right next to your car. No hiding because no one's coming. You have time. Those are my favorite kind of days. Happy Black Friday!
